Born in the US but raised in Sicily, Italy, Director/editor Anthony Chirco has been directing music videos and commercials since 2010. His love of film inspired him to become a filmmaker and in 2005, Anthony moved to Los Angeles and enrolled at New York Film Academy/LA, where he directed and produced his first series of independent short films and music videos. After film school he tried a brief stint working in construction with his brothers, but ultimately decided to follow his passion and get back into filmmaking, by churning out videos for DJs, nightclubs, restaurants, hotels, bands, and brands, etc. Anthony is best known for music videos such as: LMFAO’s Sexy And I Know It (co-directed and edited) which garnered a record breaking 327 million views, and a MuchMusic award for best video by an International Duo in 2012. He also directed and edited Waze & Odyssey’s revamp of the R. Kelly classic “Bump & Grind 2014”. Commercials include Paul Mitchell’s new Color line of products. He has hundreds of videos under his belt, and many more to come.
